Free today through Saturday!

My dark paranormal, Dancing With the Devil, is available for free at Amazon. Grab a copy! I'd love for you to read it. And please help spread the word.

This one's book 2 of The Goddess Connection series. With the heroine related to the goddess Persephone and her husband Hades, a good bit of it's set in the Underworld. I'm somewhat of a mythology addict (and a research addict, a dangerous combination!) so loved writing these characters, and placing them in modern settings with a new twist.

I hope you'll love reading it as much as I loved writing it. Embrace your inner goddess with The Goddess Connection.

If you need to "try it before you buy," I'll post the first chapter on my blog tomorrow.

Dead to Rights is available from Decadent Publishing!

Woo hoo! Decadent Publishing released Dead to Rights! I love release days. It's always a fun celebration.

I should actually say re-released. You may remember I self-pubbed this novel last year. But I wanted it to reach a wider audience, and Decadent's editors helped me polish it up a bit.

This story's a little different. Although it contains a little sexual tension, it's not a romance, but more along the lines of an urban fantasy. I'm never quite sure of the distinction between dark paranormal and urban fantasy, so I'm going with dark paranormal because of the demons, warrior angels and a mixup of souls. There's some violence and graphic language, so the heat level's bumped up because of that.

I'm even more excited that Decadent's wonderful editors were so enthusiastic about this story, a few asked about a sequel. The ending is open to it, and I'd love to write an interrelated set of stories about the various warrior angels -- eventually. I have a dozen or so WIPs I need to finish first. :)

I'm loving Decadent Publishing. They also arranged for a blog tour for Dead to Rights, so look for news of that, but probably not until May.

Dancing With the Devil's here!

Happy dance time! Dancing With the Devil, my dark paranormal erotic/romantic novel, is now available on Amazon. Woot!

Dancing With the Devil is Book Two of The Goddess Connection series, which says: Every woman should embrace her inner goddess. What’s your connection? I have several more novels in this series in mind to follow. In each, the heroine will be somehow connected to a goddess. Her lifelong quirks will become strengths once she finds her true place in the world, and accepts herself for who she really is.

Lily MacInnis, the heroine, is the granddaughter of the goddess Persephone and Hades. Yep, that Hades. A challenge to write, but if Persephone fell in love with him, he had to have some redeeming qualities. So he's a multifaceted character, which I love to write. None of these characters are without flaws, which makes them all the more interesting to write as well.

If you're at all tempted, I'm going to make Dancing With the Devil available for free on Amazon at the end of the month. Meanwhile, I could always use some Likes and tags!

Just released! Dead to Rights

I'm a little nervous - and a lot excited. My new paranormal, Dead to Rights, is now available on Smashwords and Amazon!

It's been more than a year in the making, but after many polishings, I'm confident it's as ready as possible.

I'm pretty psyched the cover came out so well. And the trailer! What do you think?

Here's an excerpt:

The bus drove all night. I dozed off a few times, but every bump in the road easily roused me. All the while, I couldn’t shake the feeling someone watched me. Had the group’s suspicion of me grown since I’d signed up? It didn’t seem likely, but I had to stay on guard, yet appear innocent. Not an easy feat. On high alert, my brain screamed for me to escape.
To what? I had nowhere to go. My only viable connection so far was Cunningham. Time would reveal the reason, but I guessed it wasn’t anything positive.
With a heavy breath, I scanned the faces of others. Every one slept, or tried to.
My senses pricked to extreme when I saw the man sitting three rows behind, on the opposite side. He stared openly, a strange glow in the whites of his eyes.
I jolted upright, then slumped in my seat. My heart pounded. How freaking weird. Grateful for Ellen’s insistence that we sit together, I feigned settling in to rest. Impossible with him still watching intently. And he was. I didn’t know how I knew, but I’d swear it.
The landscape changed from rural to downright deserted. The bus stopped for gas after the sun glimmered just below the horizon, streaking the clouds above with orange and red. It reminded me of smeared blood.
Blinking, Ellen lifted her head. “Are we there?”
“Not yet.” Sarcasm escaped me in the face of a stalker. Twice more, I’d glanced back, only to meet the same steady gaze. I stopped looking after that. Even if he presented no threat, maybe just looked for a little romance in all the wrong places, I wanted no part of him.
Who the hell was he anyway? He hadn’t attended any of the gatherings. How did he get on the bus, if he hadn’t gone through the process?

And if you get a chance, I've been in the LASR Author Spotlight all week - pop over and say hi! Comments earn chances to win my contemporary, Rock Bottom.

Have a great holiday weekend!
