Book Description:

Meet the Beteferoce brothers: five dragon shifters, each with a strong elemental power. And each with a fierce desire to find his soul mate…

He said he was flying on a silver dragon. He called me “Markus-meine.” Who would know all that? Who? And how?

SWAT cop and dragon shifter Mark Beteferoce had—and lost—a soul mate. He’s finally at the point where he can get through the days without thinking about what used to be…until he tastes Quincy O’Brien’s doughnuts and takes him home to play.

Quincy O’Brien is a gifted baker, but at night he dreams of soaring through the sky on dragonback and being topped by the perfect Dom. Mark satisfies the kinky urges Quincy has only explored in his subconscious, pushing his limits and caring for him afterward.

From the start, their connection was more than sexual. It’s known; it’s familiar somehow. And it’s slowly driving Mark insane. What shouldn’t be possible most certainly is, and the bond between himself and Quincy runs deeper than either of them could ever have realized.

Excerpt:

“We’re ready. Go ahead and open for the day.” Quincy slid the last tray of doughnuts into the case as his sister headed for the door, the smell of sugar thick on the air.
The Aerie Bakery had been in business for four gen¬erations and it felt good every morning, seeing the little line of people waiting for breakfast and coffee. Quincy felt that this was what he’d been born to do. Kneading dough and feeding people came as naturally as breath¬ing.
“Opening now,” Barb warned him so he was braced for the first flood of customers. There was a line today, as there was most mornings. The next hour was busy. Many of the customers were regulars he and Barb knew well enough to ask about the latest regarding work or family and friends. Maybe the chatter slowed the line down, but only marginally and they more than made up for it with repeat customers who really felt like they were valued, which they were. After the first hour, he and Barb got a wee bit of a break, enough time for them to take a breather and bring out the second round of trays.
“I think we’ll be sold out by eleven, Quince.”
He nodded to Barb. “I think you’re right.” That worked for him. He’d been working since three a.m. to get things ready for the morning rush.
A couple of cops came in, SWAT by the looks of their uniforms. One of them, Tom, was a regular who came in for two dozen doughnuts almost every day. Not to be stereotyping or anything, but the Halifax cops did love his doughnuts.
“I tell you, Mark, you need to get laid,” Tom said, making his friend roll his eyes.
“That’s your answer to everything.” Mark was huge: big, broad shoulders and a deep voice that Quincy swore he felt in his belly.
Yummy.
There was no way this guy had a problem getting laid.
He gave them a smile. “It’s not a bad answer. Hey, Tom.”
“Hey, Quincy. It’s not a bad answer at all. It’s a great answer.” Tom chuckled and turned to his friend. “Mark, this is Quincy—the baker of the most amazing dough¬nuts in town. Quincy, this is Mark, he’s on the team.”
Mark nodded to him. “Good to meet you. We do re¬ally like your doughnuts. They don’t last long when¬ever Tom brings them in.” Eyes the color of a stormy sky took him in.
“I love to hear that. You want two dozen assorted?”
“We do. And I’d like a half dozen of the square ones with raisins in a separate box, please.”
Tom smirked. “Mark’s addicted.”
“I am not. I just know what I like.” Mark was look¬ing right at Quincy as he said it.
“That’s a great quality in a man.”

About the Author:

Often referred to as "Space Cowboy" and "Gangsta of Love" while still striving for the moniker of "Maurice," Sean Michael spends his days surfing, smutting, organizing his immense gourd collection and fantasizing about one day retiring on a small secluded island peopled entirely by horseshoe crabs. While collecting vast amounts of vintage gay pulp novels and mood rings, Sean whiles away the hours between dropping the f-bomb and persuing the kama sutra by channeling the long lost spirit of John Wayne and singing along with the soundtrack to "Chicago."

A long-time writer of complicated haiku, currently Sean is attempting to learn the advanced arts of plate spinning and soap carving sex toys.

Barring any of that? He'll stick with writing his stories, thanks, and rubbing pretty bodies together to see if they spark.

Tagline: They must act swiftly to secure their future...and that of the entire Arathian race.

Book Description:

Heralded as the saviors of the Arathian species for their ability to procreate with the infertile Arathians, Earthers are honored citizens on Arath. While his son and extended family seem to be enjoying their new lives on the alien planet, the young widower, Conall MacLeod, feels like he doesn’t have a purpose on their extraordinary world.

His future is forever changed when he meets an Arathian male and female who make him wish for a second chance at love. But nothing is ever easy…

Conall’s self-identity is entrenched in the idea that he’s a monogamous—and heterosexual—man, yet he finds himself unexpectedly lusting after two people, one of them, shockingly, male. He can’t deny that he craves things he’s never wanted before, but if he’s ever going to find love again, he must get past his insecurities and rewrite his own self-image.

Who are the Arathians unexpectedly turning Conall’s head, and heart?

Onalee Cormikan is the co-heiress to Cormikan Industries, the leading medical research firm on Arath, which is devoted to finding a cure for their infertility. Considered reclusive by her peers after the tragic death of her parents, she’s content to support her older brother in the search for a cure... until she meets Brogan, Conall, and his family.

They make her yearn to step out of her possessive brother’s shadow, and explore what—and who—she wants in life.

Brogan is a First Lieutenant of the Arathian Royal Guard, entrusted with the protection of Arath’s soon-to-be monarchs. Solely dedicated to his job, he never expected to find a future outside his passion for his work. Yet Conall’s internal struggles seem to stand in the way of their happy future together as a trio. It’s a good thing Brogan likes a challenge.

Conall’s struggle with his sexuality isn’t the only problem facing the threesome.

As the royal coronation for Princess Jayda, Prince Deian, and Prince Lukas draws near, a new terrorist organization emerges: one that threatens not only the royal trio, but all Earthers on Arath.

With the cure to Arathians’ infertility in sight, Conall, Onalee, and Brogan must do what they can to secure both their future, and that of the Arathian race.

Warning: this book contains explicit scenes of intimacy between three consensual adults: M/F, M/M, and M/M/F.

Excerpt From Chapter 3:

Across the field, he saw Forkan Cormikan emerge from the gardens with a female on his arm—a beautiful female.
Brogan felt his breath rush out of his lungs as his entire being focused on the pair across the lawn. Was she Forkan’s mate? No, she couldn’t be. Brogan knew that the male wasn’t mated, and that he rarely brought dates out in public. Was this his sister? Please let her be his sister.
Her long hair was held back from her face by braids, and fell down her back in a black waterfall. She was slight in stature, and thin—as if she hadn’t eaten a decent meal in months. Her head turned, taking in the scene, and Brogan wondered what shade of green her eyes were.
He casually moved towards them—not because he felt a pull to do so. Nope. Not at all. It was his duty to keep tabs on all of the guests, including the beautiful females.
He was halfway to the pair, when Forkan broke away from her and headed towards a group of council members. The female was left alone, standing at the edge of the lawn, holding her small purse with both hands in front of herself.
Brogan stopped and pretended to be admiring the nearby foliage. He sipped his glass of water and watched the female. She didn’t seem upset that she’d just been abandoned.
Her gaze wandered over the lawn, while his eyes stayed glued to her. She was absolutely beautiful. Her skin was a light shade of tan, decorated with golden oriaglyphs that ran the length of her arms.
Oriaglyphs were extremely expensive, and few women had that level of decoration on their bodies. The golden tattoos shone in the sunlight, and seemed to make her glimmer. Brogan focused on the symbol high on her shoulder that signified her family, and was unsurprised to see the Cormikan family crest.
This was definitely Onalee, Forkan’s reclusive sister.
Brogan had long ago learned all of the Council members and their families by name and appearance, but even after the dozens of events he’d attended as a Guard for the royal family, he’d never seen Onalee in person. He remembered that she’d been home-schooled after the loss of her parents when she was practically a child. Still a young man himself, Forkan had become her guardian. She’d never gone to vocational training, like most young people, and instead had had private tutors. Now a grown woman, she didn’t have a profession, and had never mated.
Brogan couldn’t see why: she was lovely. There was no way males had stayed away from her, especially given her family’s status.
He heard a large splash come from the lake, and watched Onalee’s face light up in a bright smile. If he’d thought her beautiful standing there placid, it didn’t compare to when she genuinely smiled; it was like she was lit from within. Brogan stared, completely transfixed, as something inside of him shifted.
He reached out and grasped a nearby tree trunk to keep himself grounded. Inside, he had no clue what the hell was going on. His chest was tight, his heart hammered so hard that he was becoming lightheaded. Farther south, his groin tightened with each moment he watched the female.
Brogan closed his eyes tightly, and willed his body to gain control of itself. Nothing like this had ever happened, and he wasn’t sure if it was a positive thing or not.
Most assuredly not, he told himself. He’d gone through years of specialized training to be at the top of his profession. Nothing had ever thrown him off-kilter. Until one tiny slip of a female, he added.
Against his wishes, Brogan’s attention remained on Onalee. She spent another few moments watching the children play at the lake, before she shook herself and moved towards the food tents.

Excerpt PG13 from Breaking the Rules

After a taste of what he could do to her, give her, Caia would come to him easily now. He should be disappointed that the chase was over so soon, but then Tariq was desperate to claim her.
“Have you put the table where I said?” Tariq turned to his maître d’.
“Yes, sir. On the private rooftop, overlooking the sea. Candles have also been placed everywhere you wished. I simply await your instruction to light them.”
Tariq nodded, pleased. “And the dinner?”
“Your guest’s favorite as requested. Chef has outdone himself.”
Tariq thanked the man before dismissing him. The witch was about to see that a werebear could do romantic. He couldn’t wait to see her lovely eyes light up with delight at the sight of the sun setting over the breath-taking sea view while they ate dinner. Or how she would smile when one hundred candles would suddenly be lit around them once the sky had darkened. Surely no female could resist such a romantic ambience?
Tariq walked over to his desk and pressed the intercom. “Send the dinner invitation to Miss Sanderson.”
There was a brief pause. “Shall I send it up to her room, sir?”
“Take it there personally, will you, Prescott? I want to know her answer immediately.” He released the intercom button, smiling at the thought of the beauty recovering from her ‘massage’ in her room as she no doubt was. After all, she had been quite sated when he’d left her. A couple of hours’ rest would rejuvenate her for tonight.
However, twenty minutes later, there was a knock on his door. “Enter,” he called out.
A flustered looking Prescott came into the office. “I received no answer at Miss Sanderson’s room, sir.” Tariq was about to wave his assistant away, not at all concerned. He must have really worn her out and the witch was in a deep sleep.
“But, sir. I was informed that she was at the pool bar and so I went there to hand the invitation over…”
Tariq frowned, knowing that he wasn’t going to like what came next. “And?”
Prescott took a deep swallow. “Well, sir. She read the invitation, then looked at me with a smile as she tore it into shreds. Told me to let you know that there would be consequences if you bothered her again.”
Tari’s jaw clenched. How he didn’t roar with anger he didn’t know. But he managed to thank his assistant in a calm voice and assure him that the situation would be resolved. Prescott nodded, then promptly left. Once the door closed, Tariq felt the rage build. How dare Caia refuse his invitation in such a public manner! And issue a threat. He was more than tempted to turn into a bear, to smash a few things. Never had a woman proved so provoking with her unpredictable behavior. Perhaps she needed reminding that she was his, that he was the one in control here. Time for playing was over.
Tariq left his office, moving with purpose through the complex and straight to the swimming pool. Several guests looked as though they were about to speak to him, yet changed their mind as soon as they saw his face. If they were wary of his anger, why wasn’t the damn witch?
He exited the building and his gaze honed in on her straight away, on the far side of the pool. She was talking to a man at the bar. Tariq’s eyes narrowed. He didn’t recognize the human. Must be a new guest, arrived that very day, especially if he didn’t yet realize that the lady flirting with him was Tariq’s. Every golden inch of her displayed in another brief bikini. This time a turquoise one.
There was a certain amount of grim satisfaction felt when Caia spied him heading their way and Tariq saw her stiffen. But then she lifted that stubborn chin of hers and he knew she was ready for battle. It would not go well for her. He had no qualms about fighting dirty. So, when Caia ignored him and resumed her flirtation with the muscular hunk by her side, Tariq released a strong psychic wave. I am in control here. You will all go back to your suites and forget about seeing me.
“Yes, you’re in control and we will go back to our suites,” all of the guests in and around the pool replied, before slowly disappearing off as commanded.
Caia’s anger was palpable from a hundred yards away as she watched her latest target walk away like the other guests. However, she wore an unconcerned expression on her face by the time Tariq came to stand in front of her.
“You have such a way with your guests, Blackwood.”
He ignored that, choosing to cut straight to the chase. “Why did you tear my invitation up?”

She gave him a look as if he was lacking in intellect. “Because I don’t want to have dinner with you, Blackwood. It’s really quite simple.”

Excerpt

She didn’t miss the flash of disappointment in his eyes before he managed a small nod and held out his hand. “Aye then, lass, step around me.”
Jessie clenched her teeth, disappointed that the small bridge they had built was so swiftly knocked down. That he was so quick to dislike her again. But that wasn’t to be worried about right now.
Well aware time was running out, she carefully turned, so she was facing the wall, took his hand, and began moving. Step by step, she made her way along the ledge to the point where they would have to share a space.
She met his pale golden eyes and tried to ignore the flustered way they made her feel. “Are you ready for me to pass?”
“I am,” he lied.
She could tell by his guarded expression he was nowhere near ready. Not because he was a coward but because he was aware of his effect on her. More so, how much he liked it. His wariness had nothing to do with plummeting to their death but allowing her close enough that she could pass. Feeling the heat of her skin.
So a bridge might have been knocked down, but something else was taking its place. She worked to steady her breathing at the quickly escalating attraction between them. Now was most certainly not the time.
Yet she had known this would likely happen, didn’t she? That it would be unavoidable. At least for her. How else could it be considering the secrets she still kept? Secrets she was foolish enough to have thought she could keep from him for his own safety. But then she had very little real-life practice when it came to attraction. Especially the sort she felt being so close to Bryce. He was the real thing and far more then she anticipated.
However, now definitely wasn’t the time for a chat about deep dark secrets that would only upset him further.
They needed to keep moving.
Though tempted to close her eyes so she didn’t drown in those piercing golden orbs of his again, she kept them open and made her move. With her hand braced on the left side of his waist, she began moving along the front of him. She was halfway across and directly in front of him when he touched the side of her waist, lowered his lips close to her ear and whispered, “Dinnae move, lass.”
His words floated through her mind. “There is a stranger standing across the way.”
“I feel him,” she responded as her eyes rose to his. “He doesn’t see us yet.”
Though she thought it was her breath that caught when they’re eyes met, it might have been his. Alarmed by the impact of being this close, she nearly teetered back, but his arm slipped around and pulled her even closer.
Unable to breathe at all now, she didn’t look away. She couldn’t if she wanted to. “Let me go, and I’ll hide us without him knowing.”
Unmistakable heat gathered in his eyes. Heat and desire he warred to contain, but she saw it…then she felt it as his arm tightened. The pale gold flecks in his thickly lashed eyes only grew brighter with curiosity. While she could tell herself that he simply wondered how she would get them out of this, she knew better. His curiosity was entirely focused on the strong chemistry between them.
Despite the waterfall’s intense spray and the fact an enemy could very well be staring at them right now, she was human enough to get caught up in what was happening between them. How it felt to finally be pressed against his long, hard body.
To finally lay her hands on the physical form of someone she had known for so long.
“No,” she whispered, suddenly frightened as heat swept through her. “Not now. Not yet.” She swallowed hard and shook her head, suddenly lost in memories. No matter how real this might be, she had long trained herself that she couldn’t trust lustful feelings when it came to him. That she should not indulge in them. “Let me go. Please.”

Though her response could simply be that of a woman choosing to reject what flared between them, he seemed to sense there was more to it. His arousal turned to protectiveness as his brow furrowed in determination and his grip tightened ever so slightly. She couldn’t help but wonder if he was inherently responding to her past. To those moments he was so much a part of without ever knowing.
