12-18 inches in 12 hours and I'm not talking erotic romance.
The kids are cheering--their parents are groaning.
The plow trucks are everywhere.
And I'm calling into work, per the view from my front step and it's still coming down!
Even adults need a snow day now and again. This will be my first since I graduated from high school 24 years ago.
I think I'll work on a WIP, read a good book and finish a review I started. Cocoa anyone?
For those of you caught in the Noreaster, are you taking a snow day? If you are, what are you doing?

My jeans are wet part way to my knees and I'm at work standing on a heat vent. You'd think after a zillion years living in the frozen icelands of upstate NY, I'd wear something other than sneakers year round. Only got about ten inches here, and snowplows were at it all night.
Enjoy your unexpected day of freedom, Dawn!
LOL.
Thanks, Arlene.
Brrrrr. I hate being cold.
Hey, I'm a sneaker girl too. But it's noon and I'm still in my PJs.
What a slug I'm being.
