The Magic of Lavender now available!

It's out now on Amazon and Smashwords - yay! I'm very excited about it. This is the first in The Goddess Connection series. Every woman should be treated like a goddess!

I have several more in mind to follow. In each, the heroine will be somehow connected to a goddess. Her lifelong quirks will become strengths once she finds her true place in the world, and accepts herself for who she really is.

In The Magic of Lavender, Joss is related to the goddess Iris. Conflicting tales exist about this goddess - she's either the Messenger of the Gods, or Goddess of the Rainbow. I used a little of both. :)

Here's the blurb:
Jocelyn Gibson forgot about the realm of magic. But it never forgot her. Gram always told her: don’t ignore your magical gifts, it will insult the family. But Joss didn’t realize her gifts included channeling the energy of powerful ley lines. Or that her family included a goddess. Family connections come in handy when the Lord of the Underworld kidnaps local vet Eric Hendricks. He’s an amazing lover, but Joss didn’t know she loved him until too late. With a little help from the Goddess Iris, Joss defends the new life she’s forged, and helps save the town of Boiling Springs from destruction. Once Eric escapes Hell, can she stop loving him to keep him safe?

I hope you'll check it out!

The demon is not what she expected. Elita is soon swept up in his power… and her own.

Renata

The residents of the sleepy little town of Flushing, Michigan had no idea a vampire lived among them, seducing and drinking from all the men in town. Short fantasy re-release

My short fantasy, The Duende and the Muse, is now available on Amazon Kindle and Smashwords for just 99 cents! I am in love with this cover. :)

Formerly published with The Wild Rose Press, this story received 5 tombstones from Bitten by Books! Other reviews have described the story as: “awe-inspiring,” “a great tale with a creative way of using words that makes the story refreshing to read. It sparkles and fizzes with energy” and “well written and the story holds the attention from beginning to end.”

After receiving the rights back, I revised it yet again, and added a bit more about the elder muses, Calliope and Euterpe. It was fun to give these old muses a modern twist. :)

I hope you'll check it out!

I think I can write an 8k story real quick just based on this song.

This is a young adult sci-fi romance well worth checking out. A fast paced, fun and intriguing read and yep, there's some heartbreak before the happy for now ending. I can't wait for book two.
Vicki has a sweet, fresh voice which made her hit the New York Times best seller list with her debut romantic suspense novel, Not What She Seems. I’m sure her second novel will rock the charts also.

Boots

In Willem, though, he finds a man he serves gladly. He’ll stop at nothing to secure Willem’s happiness, even if it means losing him.

Release Day! Book Review: Die For Me by Amy Plum

Die for Me is the debut novel of Amy Plum, an Alabama native living the literary life in the suburbs of Paris, France. It would not be unusual to find Ms. Plum cranking out the pages of her Work-In-Progress in an ancient French castle. She puts the City of Lights to excellent use in the first book of this young adult, paranormal romantic trilogy.

Kate Mercier, age 16, a New Yorker living in Brooklyn, finds her life turned upside down in more ways than one when her parents die in a car accident. Kate and her sister leave their old life behind and try to start life afresh when they move to Paris to live with their grandparents. Kate hopes to lose herself and forget her pain in a world of books and art.

During one of her forages, she encounters a mysterious and extremely handsome young man named Vincent. Though cautious, Kate finds herself charmed and intrigued by him. As she spends time with him, she questions how much she really knows about him. Vincent seems to be hiding something.

If you're intrigued so far, feel free to stop by my site to continue reading the review. If you love romance and want a new, fresh spin on the paranormal, this book will satisfy you. An author interview is coming in the next few days as well. I think you'll find it interesting.

Toodles!

Wicked Good: Angels and demons antho released!

Hi everyone! I have been a little absent for a while (I blame Real Life!) but now I am back and have a release - today, Wicked Good: A M/M Angels and Demons Anthology of Ravenous Romance was released, edited by EM Lynley, containing my short story "Suriel's Sword". I am very happy and excited. I really wanted to be part of this anthology - let's be honest, who doesn't love the topic of angels and demons? Cool demon boys in leather jackets, hot angel babes in cuirasses with their long swords... *sigh*

So what's the story about? - Suriel, a warrior angel, is sent on a mission to retrieve a dangerous crystal that has the power to corrupt the dead into Hell’s undead minions. His partner is the demon Arioch, whom Suriel finds himself irresistibly drawn to. The angel fights the temptation, but cannot help but surrender to his desire. Discovered by the heavenly host, Suriel is branded as a sinner, and told that if he gives in to temptation again, he will be banished from Paradise. Suriel must choose whether to remain in Heaven and lead the only life he knows, or follow his heart and go to Arioch.
