What is your “day” job if you are not a full-time author?
I am a full-time Foster
Mum!
-
If you wrote a book about your life what would the title be?
The Chaotic Mumma Bear!
-
What is the hardest thing about being an author?
For me, it’s finding the
time to sit and actually write! Self-doubt would be a close second
though, for sure!
-
What is the best thing about being an author?
Hearing from readers that
your hard work was appreciated – that the characters and worlds you’ve created
are being enjoyed by someone other than yourself!
-
Have you ever been starstruck by meeting one of your favorite authors? If so
who was it?
I haven’t met an author in
real life! Sad, I know! But, I’ve been super fortunate enough to have talked
with many great and inspiring authors over social media. My dream is to meet
L.K. Hamilton or S.J Maas! One can dream!
-
What book changed your life?
Oh! That’s a hard one!
There are so many books out there that have left their mark on me in one way or
another. But to pick just one?! I’d have to say The Fellowship of the Ring
– it was my first introduction to epic fantasy, and is the reason that genre is
my favorite.
-
What were some of your favorite books growing up?
I read so many amazing
books! I’d say The Lord of the Rings, The Obernewtyn Chronicles, and Harry
Potter?
-
What books are currently in your to be read pile?
The list is endless, and
continuously evolving! My next reads are The Queen’s Assassin, Seasons
of the Storm, and The Coldest Girl in Coldtown.
-
Which do you prefer ebooks, print, or audiobooks?
Lately, I’m reading more
ebooks than anything – but print books hold a special place in my heart, and
are the reason I have no free space in my house!
-
If you could live inside the world of a book or series which world would it be
and why?
Definitely The Lord of The
Rings! I’d want to live in Rivendell with the Elves, and the world is just so
magically beautiful!
