Monster Mash

As a kid, one of my favorite Saturday afternoon activities was watching old monster movies on TV. Every Saturday for the month of October, Mariposa's Musings http://mariposacruz.blogspot.com/ will explore the men behind the monsters. The actors from those early fright flicks suffered everything from physical discomfort to typecasting for their roles, but their contributions help shape a fledgling genre into an enduring fan favorite.

Stop by Mariposa's Musings today to find out which silent film star born to deaf-mute parents on April Fools day 1883 became known as "The Man of a Thousand Faces".
